Our worship service includes

Sharing of Prayer Concerns
Sharing of the Word between pastor and people
Communion


The service is jointly led by church members and the pastor. The worship leader, elders and deacons serving communion, choir members, and persons filling other roles are all lay members.

Participation

Participation in worship and church ministries is not limited to any particular group within the church. For example, women have served in all capacities in our congregation: pastor, spiritual leader, teacher, church officer and spiritual mentor.

It is our experience of faith that God shares great spiritual gifts with men and women and does not hold back on this “gifting” because of gender. Many churches will define the positions a woman can hold; we prefer to look for the spiritual gifts of the congregation and affirm those gifts without regard to gender.

Often, our children share their spiritual insights and help us grow! Each Sunday the children are invited to participate in the Time With Children, a special few moments in the service when the focus is on a kid-oriented lesson and interaction with the pastor.
